Charles Phoenix

For those of you who may not know, Charles Phoenix is a real estate lawyer and Managing Partner at Rhodes Tucker. During his time as a lawyer, he has achieved many notable wins. For example, he served as the Lead Counsel in a unanimous ruling in the United State Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit 2009 case that pertained to complex state exemption and federal tax, employee benefit, and bankruptcy issues (Re Sarah Baker, 590 F.3d 1261, 2009 WL 4912122 (C.A.11 (Fla.)).

Most recently, he had the honor of being appointed to the steering committee in the 21st Century Oncology Class Action in November 2016. He has received membership to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 10 Business Tort Trial Lawyers Association and The National Trial Lawyers: Top 25 Mass Tort Lawyers Association.  He earned a 2017 Martindale-Hubbel AV-Preeminent rating.  He also has an Avvo 10.0 Superb rating, which is the best possible rating a lawyer can achieve.

Charles Phoenix is a lawyer who knows the numbers very well.  He received his BS in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business. Wayne State University is also where he received his J.D. at the university’s School of Law. He received his MBA from Stephen M. Ross School of Business Administration at the University of Michigan. He most recently earned his LL.M in Taxation from the University of Alabama Law School. His main practice areas include commercial real estate, commercial litigation, and class-action litigation among others.
